Colorado: Day One

October 19, 2008

Here are some photos from our first full day at my parents timeshare in Granby, Colorado. It was fairly cold, so we didn’t spend too much time outside. It warmed up later in the week. I’ll post more photos when I have some time…and when Matt shows me how to edit files in RAW. (it’s a photo term that I don’t understand either.)

The first shot is Matt’s. He took some photos in the morning…before Jonah and I ventured out with him. I’d share more with you (they are gorgeous!) but I wouldn’t want to edit his work for him. I think if you want to see those, you’ll have to ask him for ’em.

The rest are from a short walk we took after lunch. The resort is located in a valley just southeast of Rocky Mountain National Park. It was beautiful and fairly rustic. We would’ve had to drive 25 minutes for fast food.

Jonah loved, loved, loved the snow. He actually threw one of his rare temper tantrums when we left the gazebo to go warm up.
