This is another old video — from late October. Jonah had just started talking. In this one, we convinced him to say “Duck,” “Yellow,” “Dog,” “No, No” and “Night Night.”

Enjoy!

Unwrapping presents!

January 26, 2009

Here’s a video of Jonah unwrapping presents during our 2008 Christmas celebration with the Frye family. Notice how he takes care to put EVERY piece of trash COMPLETELY in the trash bucket. This meticulous nature is not a trait he inherited from his mother. 🙂

I finally downloaded video!

But because it takes FOREVER to upload (I haven’t figured out how to downsize it, yet), I will only be able to post a few.

Here is a golden oldie from early July! It’s pretty amazing to see how things have changed in just a few months.

Our little June Bug

January 20, 2009

Hey everyone! Still working on those Christmas photos. We’re still playing catchup after a really bad bout with the flu.

But I do have a few photos of our offspring to-be…

We had an ultrasound today and we got a good look at our little June Bug. He or she (we don’t know which) looks perfectly healthy! And as you can see from one of the photos, it looks like we’re adding another thumb-sucker to the family! 🙂

This is the thumb-sucking photo. You can see his or her hand (with the four finger bones) right below the nose! Too cute!

Dodah

January 6, 2009

I know, I know. I have a ton of pictures to post. But between puking, struggling to get Jonah to sleep, trying to sell our house, trying to find a new house and working…I just haven’t had the time to get them downloaded. But rest assured, it’s on my to-do list.

Anyway, I just thought I’d report that Jonah has started to say his own name. But because he can’t say his Js yet, it comes out more like “Dodah.” It’s really, really cute.

His vocabulary has increased dramatically in the last few weeks. Seems like he’s picking up new words daily. My Mom took him on a walk a few days ago and he came back saying “twirly.” It’s crazy now quickly they learn.
