Uncle Mike Visited

July 11, 2015

Michael came to visit from July 5 to the 7th for a work test. Jonah loved playing whiffle ball with him. The girls loved his snuggles. Even Isley took a special liking to him. She watched him and smiled in a sheepish sort of way. A couple of times she reached for him.

Fourth of July

July 5, 2015

We love spending time with the Peleaz family! We ate, drank some beers, played baseball, chased parachutes, did sparklers and watched the show in Gladstone!

J’s Hit

July 5, 2015

Jonah’s first T-ball hit. He loves it!

It is so hard to believe my littlest babe is about to turn one. I’m ecstatic and sad all at the same time.

She’s just started to choose to walk more frequently and has  begun to really play with toys — more than just mouthing them. She pretends to cuddle her babies and suddenly she loves flipping through the pages of her books.

The other day we played together and she pull several balls into a container. When the biggest one wouldn’t fit, I played at trying to squish it in there…over and over again. Her laughter just burst forth. It felt so good. I love making her laugh.

Her newfound confidence is tempered by clinginess, with swings from one extreme to the other daily. But no matter her mood, she adores her siblings. It’s so crazy to have a baby leap out of your arms to someone else. And it’s so incredible to have kids old enough to hold her!

Crying fits happen frequently these days, as she wants nearly everything she sees! Every nap she’s ever taken has been on Mama’s chest, except a small handful — that were on Daddy’s.

She says Mama, Dada, book, Oof oof, more.
