Here are the answers to the big questions!

1) I’m more than three months pregnant and my official due date is June 9, 2009. Our midwife speculates that I might end up with a May baby…based on how early I started having contractions with Jonah. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

2) We don’t plan on finding out the sex of the baby this time around….of course we’ll be happy regardless of the sex, but we’re both sort of hoping for a boy. I’m hoping the mystery will help me through labor.

3) I’ve been sick again. But it’s getting better….our midwife says the sickness and fatigue should resolve by 14-16 weeks.

4) Yes, we’re using a midwife this time around. Unless there are complications, we plan on having this baby at home. When Jonah was born, we both (him and I) underwent a slew of unnecessary interventions that we believe led to complications in the delivery. Matt and I want more control this time around. Our midwife is a nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of experience with home birth. She worked in the hospital setting in the ER, ICU and Maternity units before leaving to start her own practice. If you have questions…just email me!

5) The blog name/location might change. I’m going to look into transferring the content. Guess we should’ve thought about our plans for our family before naming the blog!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I’ll post photos from our visit to Nebraska soon. And I’ll keep you posted on the pregnancy too!
